For the process-automated archiving of mass data. ELO XML is a service for importing mass data into the ELO archive and is used in ELOprofessional and ELOenterprise.
An XML file contains information on how the keywording to a document should look. The location in the archive where the document should be filed and its access rights are specified therein. A data source, such as an ERP system, automatically generates a document (invoice, delivery note, dispatch confirmation, etc.) and in addition to this document the data source bundles a second file, the XML file.

The keywording information is located in this. The ELO XML importer takes both files, evaluates the XML file and files the document away in the right place in the ELO archive with the corresponding keywording. There is no longer any need to manually pick out the keywording information in the documents. The XML importer automatically archives the documents in ELO. As a result, there is very little programming effort required. The agreement to set up the keywording file in advance is all that is important, the XML importer takes care of the rest itself.
