ELO WCM makes child’s play of managing a website - by separating the graphical, navigational and structural elements from the text contents, it is markedly simple to design how the contents are maintained. ELO's WCM high level of integration within the ELO ECM product family brings a further crucial benefit in that all data can be managed in a process-related manner in a centralised repository. This results in less uncontrolled growth of system solutions and standardised access to distributed data.

ELO WCM comes with a simple-to-use editor for quick content publication. Both content pages and the object structure can be allocated by storing them in the archive structure. Furthermore, links for comprehensive navigation can be set up to other content pages. One special feature is the direct parallel administration of several languages. The system can purposefully steer the publication and translation process in the individual national languages by making a tree structure available for all languages and not just one tree structure for each language. This is a function which is rarely supported in the other WCM systems currently available on the market.
The security of the information is also ensured to a high level. With the aid of the powerful ELO user administration, you can exactly control which users or user groups have access to which website elements. In this way, the various different user groups in a company can quickly and conveniently publish content from their familiar ELO environment on their own websites. All of the content for this is securely managed in ELO.
The workflow engine integrated into ELO WCM also alleviates the administration of very complex and extensive websites and ensures that web contents are not published without being checked. All common ECM functions, such as workflow, user administration, signature, authorisation concepts, versioning, archiving, collaboration and check-in/check-out, can be meaningfully combined with the WCM. The WCM module generally fits in seamlessly with the existing ELO product family, ensuring that integration work is kept to a minimum for existing ELO customers.
