ELO Digital Office is a proud supporter of the RFDS of Australia.
As a "Friend of the RFDS" we want to show our commitment to one of the most respected and trusted Australian organisations. During the upcoming years we will organise a variety of events showcasing RFDS's services and give companies and individuals possibilities donating to the RFDS cause.
The founder of the RFDS, the Rev John Flynn, had a vision to provide a 'Mantle of Safety' for the struggling pioneers living in remote areas where just two doctors provided the only medical care for an area of almost 2 million square kilometres. By 1928 his dream had become a reality and he founded the RFDS in Cloncurry, thereby giving what the people in the outback termed the 'mantle of safety'. ie they were no longer isolated by the harsh conditions of the unforgiving Outback and could turn to the Flying Doctors for help in medical emergency.
